Snapshots of a 16" x 20" canvas as it evolved into a self-portrait,
drawn in pencil, erased, redrawn, and painted over in successive layers of oils.

This edition resulted from a request by Richard Roth, curator of the exhibition Local Self-Portraits at the Hudson Opera House, to provide a work for the show, June 12-August 14, 2010. The Deluxe Edition of this book was in the exhibition, not the painting. The first pencil sketch was done on March 8, 2010.

Printed inkjet on acid free paper in archival pigment Epson inks.
Cover printed inkjet on canvas, finished with automotive lacquer.
